Flying

Believing I was the first man

To fly without an aircraft

I aspired to greatness

I dreamed dreamed as I walked

Not realizing I was walking

Asleep but walking

Till suddenly

Suddenly I knew terror

Abruptly awakening

Irretrievably falling helpless

Violence pain forever

Hurling toward a hard wall

A brutal hard floor

Searing pain all over

Public and paramedics

Enduring my piercing vocal abuse

As I uncontrollably screamed

Then there was a hospital

An x-ray lab ad nausium

Thank God an OR

A rehabilitation center
